CompuServe is one of the world’s oldest internet companies; in fact, it was the first large business online service in the United States, and it has been assisting people in communicating via e-mail since the late 1980s. Prior to AOL’s acquisition, Compu Serve was well-known for hosting the first WYSIWYG email content editor, which allowed users to connect to their service in order to exchange new mail and other content online. The company is now an AOL subsidiary, and it continues to operate as an internet portal that offers an excellent email service that users can easily access browser, phone, and IMAP-enabled email customers such as Netscape Messaging or Microsoft Outlook.

Compu Serve representatives or people with a CompuServe.com email account can access the service via two different websites: those with email addresses like “[email protected]” can access CS 2000 Webmail, and those with email addresses like “[email protected]” can access CompuServe.com webmail.
